Changing the Game- The Rise of Terpenes
At Full Circle, we’ve always understood the value of ancillary compounds and constituents. That’s why we’ve worked hard to produce extracts with some of the highest (unaided or adulterated) terpene contents on the market. As a result, we are seeing terpene numbers between 9 and 20 percent, resulting in full flavor, aromatic aromas oils with properly tempered effects.
At a recent conference AC Braddock, head of Eden Labs, the manufacturers of our powerhouse extractor, took on the idea that THC is king, sticking good science, the entourage effect, and (gasp!) the preferences of women and people over fifty to what has for some time now been a boys-club market. Here’s what she had to say:
“Until a couple years ago and against our urging to focus on the whole plant, the extraction community mimicked alcohol prohibition by being focused on making the strongest product possible. This quest for high levels of THC destroyed terpene content by over refining for THC and ignored the Entourage Effect and the largest sector of market growth; pure, whole plant, dosable products for people over 50 and women. THC alone or in high concentration is boring and drastically limits the efficacy and marketability of products for health and enjoyment by all.”
